Homes Portal
How the AI works
Homes Portal has an assistant that knows your projects. Here's exactly what it can see, what it's allowed to do, and the rules it always follows — in plain language.
What it can see
The assistant reads the projects on your account — and only the ones you point it at. That means your budgets, schedules, materials, invoices, change orders, subs, punch lists, and any files you attach to a conversation. It never sees another company's data, and nobody else's assistant can see yours.
It asks before it acts
Anything outbound — sending an invoice, sending an email, adding a calendar event — is prepared as a card you can read first. Nothing is sent until you press the button on that card, and prepared actions expire on their own if you walk away. The assistant also cannot permanently delete your project data.
It can be wrong
Treat it like a sharp assistant, not an authority. It can misread a document, mix up a date, or state a number with confidence and still be wrong. That's why every AI surface in Homes Portal carries the same line: Homes Portal AI can make mistakes. Check anything you act on. Money, deadlines, and anything legal deserve a second look before you rely on them.
Your data
Your project data is used to answer your questions — not to train AI models. Homes Portal's assistant is powered by Claude, from Anthropic; the details of how data is handled live in our privacy policy.
Usage
Every plan includes AI usage; heavier plans include more. If you hit a limit, the app tells you plainly instead of degrading quietly.
